What can you tell me about yourselves? What are your experiences and backgrounds?
Stephanie Stroud and Lynn Litchfield are the creative force behind StefLynn Designs. Stephanie received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Rhode Island School of Design and Lynn received two Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. They have been collaborating since 1994. Both have been active in the community since high school and have volunteer experience with Scouting, Church groups, and Parent Teacher Organizations. Married, with seven sons between them, and wonderfully supportive husbands, they are friends as well as business partners. "Sharing art is uncommon amongst artists. But our friendship has built a trust which has allowed collaborative works to be possible. We combine our creative abilities and ideas, drawing on each other's strengths."
How did your collaboration begin?
StefLynn Designs was born when Lynn's cousin Heather wanted a unique invitation for her wedding. She had a vision of what she wanted, we made it happen. Whether you're like Heather and know what you want but can't find it or, only know you want something unique but aren't quite sure what, we help people express themselves through their invitations and announcements.
Where are you located?
We work out of a studio in Southeastern Massachusetts and all work is handmade by us.
